Copy trading
Copy trading for prop firm accounts, one click across every account you own.
PassTraq copies the order you place on the account on your screen to the other accounts in your copy group, each at its own multiplier, rounded down. Every account gets its own bracket, and Flatten closes each one by its own position. Copied orders go to your broker through live routing, a Quant beta.

See it work
One order across a copy group, worked out by the real code
Change the size, a multiplier or a pause: the workbench's own copy-trade code works out what each account gets, what it risks, who is skipped, and what Flatten leaves.
One click sends 3 orders, 4 contracts in all · 2 skipped
How it works
How copy trading works, step by step
Copy trades from one evaluation account to your others, with each account protected separately.
- Build a group. In the Account Manager, press Copy, tick two or more of your accounts and name the group. One group is armed at a time. A blown, passed or archived account is refused, and so is the same broker account twice.
- Set each follower. In the copy desk, a follower copies at ×0.5, ×1, ×2, ×3 of your size, or is paused. One click, no order sent.
- Trade the leader. The account on your screen when you click leads. If it is not in the armed group, the order goes to it alone and you are told.
- Click the order from the DOM, the ticket or the chart, as always. A ×N badge and a COPY ×N chip in the status bar show how many accounts it reaches. The desk's group order previews every account first; its Send takes two presses.
- Manage from the leader. Cancel or move the order there and every copy follows. Every answer, fill and position lands in the Copy tab.
Every order is a click. No keyboard shortcut places an order, and no AI can. Copying happens inside the futures trading platform, so an order placed in another platform is not copied.
Multipliers
Each follower's size: your size times its multiplier, rounded down
A follower copies your size times its multiplier, ×0.5 to ×3, rounded down, so a multiplier never adds a contract you did not size. A follower whose share rounds to zero is skipped for that order, and the Copy log says why.
| Your size | ×0.5 | ×1 | ×2 | ×3 |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | rounds to 0 | 1 | 2 | 3 |
| 2 | 1 | 2 | 4 | 6 |
| 3 | 1 | 3 | 6 | 9 |
| 4 | 2 | 4 | 8 | 12 |
When a follower gets nothing
- Paused: you paused that follower. It keeps its own positions.
- Skipped by the desk: the group-order preview marked it blown, read-only or locked before you sent.
- Rounds to 0: your size times its multiplier, rounded down, is under one contract.
- Needs a gateway update: an order gateway that cannot size accounts separately never sends a follower the leader’s size instead.
- Scale-out targets: an order with several targets copies only to followers at ×1.
Each account on its own
Each account protected separately
A copy group shares your click, not your risk: each account gets its own size, its own bracket at your broker and its own exit.
Its own bracket
The stop and target on your ticket go with the copy: the order gateway places a native bracket for every account, at that account's size.
Its own room and risk
One desk card per account shows its balance, day P&L and drawdown left before its floor, labelled with its source. The group order shows what each account risks to the stop as a share of that room.
Who is left out
A blown, read-only or locked account is skipped with the reason, and a passed evaluation leaves its groups. The same broker account never gets two legs of one order.
Not checked yet
Two desk checks cannot run yet: a follower's own max position and per-trade risk cap. Guardian, your own stricter limits, judges the account on your screen.
Getting out
One move flattens the whole group
Flatten on the leader closes every account in the group, each by its own position at your broker, never by the leader's size. A paused follower keeps its positions.
Flatten
For each follower, the order gateway cancels its working orders in the contract, brackets included, then has the broker close the position from that account's own book. An account that does not answer is reported as not confirmed, never assumed flat.
Reverse, stops and moves
Reverse turns each follower by its own position, and a stop or target you set on the leader's position is set on each follower from its own. Cancel or drag the leader's order and every copy follows, even after a reload in the same browser.
Watching it
Watch every account: the Copy tab and the copy desk
The Copy tab shows every copied order with a line per account, each follower's position from its own broker stream, and a log you can export.
- Copied orders. A line per account: sent, accepted, moved, cancelled, filled or failed, with each answer's latency. Failed legs and split prices are flagged.
- Positions. Each follower against the leader times its multiplier. One that drifted gets Align, which sends the difference to that account alone, in two presses.
- The log. Every action, answer and fill to the millisecond, filterable by account, exportable as CSV, readable from another device.
Copied trades land in your trading journal per account, like any other trade.
Plans
Which plan copy trading needs: live routing, a Quant beta
An order to an account at your broker, an evaluation included, is live. PassTraq routes it only on Quant, at $79 a month, with an active subscription and the live-trading acknowledgement accepted.

Sim accounts do not copy. They trade in the workbench on Trader and up, but on a sim account the order gateway refuses a copied order on every account and says nothing was sent. Starter is free and has no workbench: start free and add a plan when you want one.
Your accounts, your firm
Your own accounts only, and your firm's rules on copying
Copy trading copies your own accounts, never another trader or a signal. PassTraq never blocks or warns on a copy group because of a firm rule: following your firm's rules on copying is your responsibility.
| Firm | What PassTraq read in its rules | Checked |
|---|---|---|
| Take Profit Trader2026-10-21 | “Automated trading systems, bots and algorithmic execution tools are not permitted on any account. Trade copiers are allowed between your own accounts.” Source | |
| Lucid Trading2026-10-21 | “Automated systems and trade copiers are permitted within Lucid’s rules; HFT, microscalping and hedging are prohibited.” Source | |

Firms change their rules; read your firm's current terms before you copy. Firm pages with a written automation note: Take Profit Trader, Lucid Trading, Elite Trader Funding, Apex Trader Funding, Topstep, MyFundedFutures, Tradeify, The Trading Pit, DayTraders.com, FTMO Futures; every other firm is on prop firms. Each account's drawdown and daily loss stay on the free prop firm rules tracker.
Questions
Copy trading: questions traders ask
Can I copy trades between my prop firm accounts?
Yes, between your own accounts at your broker. Arm a copy group and every order you click on the leading account goes to the others, each at its own multiplier. Copied orders need live routing: Quant only, with an active subscription and the live-trading acknowledgement.
Is PassTraq a trade copier for prop firms?
It copies inside the trading workbench, from the account on your screen when you click. There is no separate copier app watching another platform: an order placed elsewhere is not copied.
Do prop firms allow copy trading?
Each firm decides, and rules change. As PassTraq read it on 2026-10-21, Take Profit Trader says: “Automated trading systems, bots and algorithmic execution tools are not permitted on any account. Trade copiers are allowed between your own accounts.” Following your firm’s rules on copying is your responsibility; PassTraq never blocks or warns on a group because of a firm rule. See each firm’s prop firm page.
Can I copy another trader’s trades?
No. A copy group holds only your own accounts, on your own broker logins. PassTraq does not copy other traders or signals.
What happens when a follower’s size rounds to zero?
It is skipped for that order, with the reason in the Copy log. A ×0.5 follower of a one-contract order gets nothing; at two contracts it gets one.
Does Flatten close every account in the group?
Yes, each by its own position: the leader closes its own, and every follower that is not paused is closed at the broker from its own book. A paused follower keeps its positions.
Can I copy trades on sim accounts?
No. Sim accounts trade in the workbench on Trader and up, but a copied order needs a live broker session; on a sim account the order gateway refuses it and says nothing was sent.
How many prop firm accounts can I copy to?
As many as your plan holds, in one armed group at a time. Quant, the plan with live routing, has unlimited accounts. The same broker account can never sit in a group twice.
