About PassTraq: the mission, and five principles you can check

PassTraq is software for futures traders in prop-firm evaluations and funded accounts: a trading journal, a rules tracker for 23 prop firms and a browser trading platform, on your own broker data. It exists to put your firm’s rules in front of you while there is still time to act. It is not affiliated with any prop firm, and Starter is free forever.

Our mission

Why PassTraq exists: the mission

Most prop-firm challenges are not lost to a bad strategy. They are lost to a rule the trader didn't see in time: a trailing drawdown that moved with open profit, a daily loss limit three trades away, a best day that grew into too large a share of the profit.

PassTraq exists to put those rules in front of you while there is still time to act, and to help you build the discipline that keeps an account alive, from the first trade of an evaluation to the payout.

Who PassTraq is for

PassTraq is for futures traders working through prop-firm evaluations and funded accounts, and for traders on their own futures broker account. You might scalp, day trade or hold positions longer; either way, PassTraq works from your own broker account and your own market data.

The whole life of a prop account

One place for the whole life of a prop account: plan the day, trade it, stay inside the rules, review it, learn from it, and document the payout. It is built on your own broker data and your own AI.

PassTraq can't pass a challenge for you, and it guarantees nothing. It makes the rules, the room you have left and your own patterns visible, so the part of passing that is yours to control is always in front of you.

What we stand for

Five principles, each beside its proof

Each principle sits beside a drawing of the screen it governs. Flip the switch to see the state it decides.

1of 5Broker numbers: Trader and up

The broker's numbers come first.

What your broker reports is what you see, with its source and time.

Proof in the product

  • With your Rithmic login connected on Trader and up, balance and drawdown are your broker’s own numbers, labelled live, with the time they arrived, or stale.
  • Once your broker owns a balance, nothing worked out from your journal can overwrite it. Without a broker login, as on Starter, the numbers come from your trades and say Journal.

2of 5Charts and DOM: Trader and up (beta)

Only real market data.

Nothing on a chart or in the DOM is filled in or made up.

Quiet marketQuiet market — no trades for 4m. The session is live; a quiet market is not a dead feed.

Illustration — prices invented; the status lines are the product’s own.

Proof in the product

  • PassTraq doesn't sell market data. Plans are market-data neutral: charts, the DOM, replay and backtests run on your own broker or Rithmic login.
  • No trades reads Quiet market; a feed that can’t reach you reads Disconnected. Nothing is filled in, and a gap after a disconnect is filled from the provider’s history on reconnect.

Proof in the product

  • Every order is a click. No keyboard shortcut places an order, and no AI can.
  • Guardian lets you set your own limits, stricter than the firm's. It refuses an order that would break them, and never blocks an exit, a flatten or a cancel.

Illustration — numbers invented; each R uses the product’s own rule.

Proof in the product

  • R is your net P&L over the risk you planned: the stop on your order’s bracket, a stop or risk you typed, a risk column in your import, or your default stop for the symbol. With none of them, R reads “—”.
  • A firm value PassTraq has not verified is labelled, or not calculated at all, never guessed.

What PassTraq does

Seven parts of one prop account

From the plan to the payout. The plan beside each part is the lowest one that opens it.

  1. Plan, test and automate

    Pro and up

Backtest a strategy on your own data, see which of a firm’s rules would end it, then run it as signals, staged orders or sim.

The name on PassTraq’s Terms of Service, Privacy Policy and Risk Disclosure is PassTraq.

Software, not a broker

PassTraq is software, not a broker, adviser or fiduciary. It never holds your money or your positions: your broker and your prop firm do. Read the risk disclosure.

Paid by its plans

What PassTraq charges for is its plans: Trader $19, Pro $49 and Quant $79 a month, billed through Stripe. It sells no market data and none of your personal data, and no prop firm link on the site is a partner link.

Rithmic, by the book

PassTraq connects to your broker through Rithmic’s R | Protocol API, with your own Rithmic login: Apex Trader Funding and AMP Futures today, 14 more prop firms in beta. Rithmic’s required notices are shown in the trading workbench and on the attributions page. See the attributions.

Not affiliated

PassTraq is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or a partner of any prop firm, CME Group or Rithmic, except where a link is marked as a partner link.

Check us

Is PassTraq legit and safe? Check it yourself

Don’t take a trading tool’s word for it. Each item below is a fact you can check, with the page that holds it.

  • Rules, with a date

Firm rulebooks were last checked against each firm’s own documentation on Oct 14, 2026.

  • Outages, in public

The status page publishes what broke, for how long, why, what changed, and whether a monitor caught it, instead of an uptime number.

  • Your data

PassTraq does not sell your personal data. Broker passwords are encrypted at rest and used only to connect to your broker.

  • Billing

Paid plans renew monthly through Stripe; cancel any time from Settings. The Terms in force are dated October 17, 2026.

  • Risk, stated plainly

Futures trading involves substantial risk of loss. PassTraq is software, gives no investment advice and guarantees nothing.

  • A person to write to

Questions, a rule that changed, or a request to export or delete your data: one address.
